How can I get soft, clear combination skin?
I have moderate acne, but my face isn't entirely clear and I really want to smooth it out. My cleanser and my moisturizer don't feely tingly or refreshing at all. Any tips for combination skin? Any product reccomendations for:
Acne Spot Removers
Have you ever looked into the clarisonic brush? It's GREAT for washing your face and works with any kind of cleanser, your face will feel baby smooth afterward and it exfoliates. It's 150+ on ebay, you can look it up on sephora.com- it gets great reviews.
As far is Cleanser- I love nuetrogena pink grapefruit. It works on my skin.
Moisturizer: I love MD skincare for this, you can get it cheaper on ebay- http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=163809&catid=12983&trx=PLST-0-CAT&trxp1=12983&trxp2=163809&trxp3=1&trxp4=0&btrx=BUY-PLST-0-CAT&cmbProdBrandFilter=48586
Toners- I'm not a big fan of toners, because they're all pretty much the same. I like Biore, it's 8 bucks at the drug store.
Acne spot- Crush up an aspirin, make a paste with some water, and put it on your acne. It helps as well as any spot treatment i've tried.
Foundation: The big mistake girls make is trying to cover acne with foundation- it doesn't help. it only looks worse. You don't want anything with full coverage, a tinted moisturizer would be best to even out your skin tone (there's no hiding acne unless you want to use putties). I suggest http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P109936&categoryId=C10550&shouldPaginate=true
And Laura Mercier colorless powder to stop shine. A sheer gel blush is great, too.
What is a cheap, quick, painless way to get rid of acne scars?
I've had consistent acne for the past four years, and now that it's clearing up I noticed that most of my problem now is just scarring. I've been trying a dark spot remover cream to see if it would help, and I noticed a little improvement at first, but now it's stopped working. Is there a way to remove my scars that is cheap, painless, and pretty fast-acting? I want to look better for my Sweet 16 in three months!
How should I tread redness caused by acne?
Last year, I've had 5 acne spots in my face. Unfortunately, I bought an acne remover pen and used it to treat them. They did go, but on the other hand, they left red spots.
I almost tried every product and nothing worked!
What should I do?
For one month smooth Aloe Vera (99% with 1% Tea Tree Oil Extract) on the the red spots over night. Apply thick and let dry through the whole night, and wash in the morning. You can also mix some Aloe Vera into your face cream. After a month all redness should have disappeared -it worked with me
How to get rid of full face acne quickly?

How to Get Rid of Acne: ..................Thanks to Mama Bear for the following.
Rub fresh lemon juice on your pimples with a gentle hand. The bleaching properties of lemon juice lighten the skin and thus reduce its appearance. Moreover, it removes the topmost layer of the skin surface where bacteria grows and controls the infection. Thus the healthy underlying skin is revealed. If you hesitate to use concentrated lemon juice on the pimple as you fear it may cause skin irritation, then you can dilute it with rose water.
Application of Ice
This is an easy way to get rid of pimples overnight. You have to pack up some crushed ice in an aluminum foil in order to prevent them from getting melted quickly. Then put it inside a plastic bag and wrap up the pack with a thin towel. Now apply it over the pimples for 10 to 15 minutes. This will shrink the pores forcing the oil and dirt out of it. When the two main culprits are out, you can expect the pimple to clear up in no time.
You can get rid of pimples overnight using toothpaste. Many people find it highly beneficial for this purpose. Take some toothpaste on the tip of your finger and apply it on the pimple in such a way that the entire pimple is covered up with the toothpaste properly. Leave it on the pimple overnight. Next morning when you wash it off with warm water, you will be pleasantly surprised with the result. The trick is that the toothpaste absorb all the oil from the pimple and reduce its size so much that it becomes invisible. However, a toothpaste with gel content is not suitable for this treatment.
Baking soda is considered as one of the best home remedies for getting rid of pimples overnight. Prepare a thick paste using one cup of baking soda, 3 tablespoons of salt and some water. Rub this paste gently over the affected areas of your face making small circular motions. Leave it on the acne for few minutes and then wash your face with cool water. The exfoliant property of the salt removes the dead skin cells from the pores. The baking soda soften up the skin and restore the normal pH balance of the skin. As a result, the pimple clears up fast.
A simple egg mask can help you in getting rid of pimples from your face. Take one or two eggs as per your requirement. Break them and separate the white portion of the eggs from the yolk. It is the egg white that you need to apply as facial mask on your face. Keep it on the face overnight and then wash off with cold water.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is known for its healing and disinfecting properties. To apply it, start with washing the face thoroughly with an antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a towel and then taking a cotton ball apply apple cider vinegar evenly on the affected skin. Leave on for fifteen minutes before washing it off with cold water.
Steam and Clean
In the very initial stages of acne when it is still a small zit or just in the form of whitehead and blackhead you can try doing this. Clean your face with cleansing milk using cotton pads. Now scrub it with a gentle face scrub. Take steam on your face for about 8-10 minutes. Now take a sterilized blackhead remover and clean the blackheads and whiteheads. You can also try squeezing pimples if they are very small. Use a clean cotton pad to clean the pus or blood that flows out. Now finish by cleaning the area with an antiseptic lotion or a toner. This procedure will help keep your skin clean and avoid further acne breakouts. Following this everyday before going to bed is one of the easiest ways to get rid of acne fast at home.
Acne Prevention Tips
?Do not touch the skin areas which are affected by acne with your fingers, as it can spread the infection to other skin areas as well.
?Maintain hygiene i.e., use clean bed sheets, pillow cases and towels. Dirty towels can be the breeding ground of germs and bacteria, thereby causing severe cases of acne breakouts.
?Dandruff and oil in hair can cause acne too, so to prevent that, avoid doing such hair styles which make your hair touch or fall on your face.
?Exercise everyday as it helps in proper blood circulation, and adequate transfer of oxygen to all the body cells. Exercising will help in both reducing stress and preventing acne.
?Take shower after undertaking any kind of exercise or physical activity to prevent dirt and sweat from getting accumulated in the skin pores.
?Drink lots of fluids and water as it will help in elimination of wastes and toxins from the body, resulting in a blemish free, glowing skin.

Some of us are washing with J&J Clear and Clean.
Me too. Trying Coconut Oil for moisture. Pretty hard wax
to start with. Put a teaspoon full in a small plastic jar
and warm with hair dryer, a bit, not all the way.
What can i do to earse acne scars for good?
I had bad acne and i still have a little, but whats really bad is the scarring! My face is always really red because its covered in small flat red marks everywhere, and some big darker spots. I wanted to get the clinique dark spot remover but its a little too pricey. I also heard that honey works...but i that takes awhile. I want something that works fast and wont make my face break out. Any ideas?
Foundation is okay to use and may give you more confidence if you've got a hot date, but remember to look for oil-free one. Whatever you use to put on your skin, wash your hands or sponge before applying foundation.
Use some rubbing alcohol and apply a VERY small amount on your pimple. And if you?re kinda embarrassed where some of your acne is appearing from, you can disguise it by use a Q-tip or cotton ball and apply it on. Oh and try this! Mix olive oil and salt together and apply it to your face. It really works! I know "oil" but trust me, it works. Don't use products like Proactive...IT DOES NOT REALLY WORK! Oh and another way to zap pimples is toothpaste and shaving cream! Use toothpaste and apply it to your pimple and cover it up with a band-aid. Shaving cream works too, apply it on and your acne will dry up immediately....but don't forget to wash your face even though it?s gone. Dab garlic juice on your face. It works too, and tries smashing an aspirin tablet and mixes some lemon juice with it and applies to your face daily. Don't stress out and try to keep your hands and hair away from your face! I hope it helped how it helped me!
